Shizue is a licensed acupuncturist in private practice, with over 20-years of experience in the US and Japan. She takes pride in providing compassionate, patient-centered acupuncture, herbal formulas, and shiatsu techniques for a wide range of conditions. Taking great care of her clients is incredibly important to her. She graduated with a Masters degree in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine, completed advanced training at Dong Zhi Men Hospital in Beijing, China, worked as a hospital-based shiatsu practitioner at Jo-Sai Hospital in Japan, and provided customized herbal prescriptions at Sei-shin-do Kampo Chinese Herb Store in Tokyo, Japan. She has been in private practice in the US since 2008.

Shizue is also a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)
